Contacted Amanda Francis on February 11 through her website with questions on a property she had listed in Davenport that I was very interested in. It had been on the market for several weeks. I got a text message about 10 minutes later, signed with Amanda's full name, asking if I was "actively searching for a property or just browsing". I told her I am actively looking, although my current house is not up for sale yet but can be ready to go on the market within 2 weeks. I never received a response to that text, or the next 2 I sent. On February 12, I left a message with her office asking to speak to someone about this property. I got no response that day. On February 13, I got a voicemail from Amanda saying that she didn't know who had been texting me, but it wasn't her. Then she said but of course she would talk to me about the property. She said she was in continuing education classes that day, so if I left her a message she would call or text on her "next break". My husband called and left a detailed message minutes later. We never heard from her at all. On February 16, I called Amanda and left a voicemail. No response. So I again called her office asking to talk to someone about this property. Pretty quickly after that message, Amanda calls me back and says she's sorry it had taken her so long to get back to me. She stated that she didn't get our voicemail on February 13. I tell her it's been impossible to get ahold of her and she gives me some nonsense about not getting her messages because of some new phone system or something. Then she lets me know that this house sold on February 12. I asked her why she didn't let me know this on February 13 when she left me the voicemail. The next 7-8 seconds was dead silence before she then tried to tell me that the "final paperwork" hadn't been signed at that time. Seriously, something shady is going on here. The house sold 1 day after I inquired about it, but I got the runaround for almost a week. I'm sure the current owner would be interested to know that there was another potential buyer interested in the property, something that could have caused him to receive a higher price for his home. Something very shady went on here, and I fully expect that this house has been bought to be flipped and it will be listed by this company again in about 90 days. SHADY!

Since I was not pressed for time to move out of my current home I took my time over 3 years to find one. She was very patient and professional. The closing went fast and was uneventful. I highly recommend Shawna for anyone buying their next home!

She not only truly cared about finding my girls and I the right home to fit our family but she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the whole process. Whether it was checking for leaks under the sinks, helping me determine the age of the furnace, pointing out both good and bad things about the homes she was hands on and there to really make sure I got the best home possible.
